Nearly 8 months ago I created this site and this post area to highlight my on-going teaching and research efforts. And 8 months later, I have certainly been busy, but I haven’t been active in posting to the blog portion of my website.
So, I am turning over a new leaf, as they say!
I just attended my 4th CCCCs conference. This year we all convened in Atlanta, GA. And by “we” I mean, of course, everyone in the field, but more specifically my dear friends Brittany and Erin. We presented together on a panel. In our long conversations outside of presentations and workshops, we discussed how we missed the interaction, the fellowship that comes with spending 4 years completing a PhD. In other words, we are just getting used to our new “sea legs” at our respective institutions.
Homesickness for friends and colleagues aside, I am refreshed after the conference. And this area now serves as my space wander in intellectual freedom.
It is wonderful to meet with friends and resonate.
